If you’re visiting Niagara Falls this January, there are a number of amazing events and festivals that will give you a taste of world famous Niagara Icewine and connect you with spectacular winter experiences you won’t soon forget.
Icewine Festival
From January 26th-27th, 2018 you can stop by the wonderful Niagara Icewine Festival at the Scotiabank Convention Centre in Niagara Falls to taste premium VQA red, white, and ice wine from over 20 of Niagara’s best wineries paired with savoury dishes prepared by some of Niagara’s top chefs. The festival will also feature live entertainment and an outdoor Icewine Winter Wonderland where you can take in the sight of beautiful ice sculptures and twinkling lights.
Icewine Beer
Niagara Brewing Company in Niagara Falls has recently released their limited-edition Niagara Icewine Beer, combining the sweet and complex flavours of icewine with the bubbly goodness of beer. You can stop by the brewery on Clifton Hill to try it on tap or pick it up in 375ml or 750ml bottles for some great beer drinking during the holidays.
Intense Icewine Experience & Lunch
Peller Estates Winery & Restaurant in Niagara-on-the-Lake is hosting an Intense Icewine Experience & Lunch on January 20th, 2018, offering a premium tour and behind-the-scenes look at Niagara Icewine production and a reception at the Peller Estates 10Below Icewine Lounge where you’ll enjoy a 3 course lunch complemented by Peller’s award-winning VQA wines.
Icewine Village
On January 20th and 21st you can visit the charming town of Niagara-on-the-Lake to walk around their Icewine Village and sample Icewine from amazing Niagara-on-the-Lake wineries paired with Icewine inspired culinary creations from renowned Signature Kitchen Chefs. Chateau des Charmes winery in Niagara-on-the-Lake is hosting an Icewine & Ice Cream event on January 6th & 7th, 13th & 14th, 22nd, 27th& 28th, featuring tours and tastings of two Chateau des Charmes Icewines paired with delicious hand-made local ice cream.
